One Min Ramayana 8 — The importance of Rama Pattabhisheka Slokas!

After winning over Ravana and returning to Ayodhya victoriously, Lord Rama gets crowned as the King. All the Maha Rishis, Devathas attend the Grand Pattabhisheka event of Lord Rama. Holy Water from 500 different Holy rivers was brought to the event by Maha Vanaras. It was the Grandest Pattabhisheka event ever held on the Planet.

After Vashishta maharshi crowns Lord Rama as King, he says 4 important slokas. Those 4 slokas sing the praises of Lord Rama and request him to rule and guide us.

Even today, elders say, those who recite these slokas will be ruled by Rama as his citizen and so will always be protected.

Every mantra has special result when recited on an auspicious thithi. These 4 slokas give you great results when recited on Sri Rama Navami thithi. But you can also chant anytime of the year to experience the eternal blissful feeling of being ruled by Lord Sri Rama.

ब्रह्मणा निर्मितं पूर्वं किरीटं रत्नशोभितम् ||
अभिषिक्तः पुरा येन मनुस्तं दीप्ततेजसम् |
तस्यान्ववाये राजानः क्रमाद्येनाभिषेचिताः ||
सभायां हेमक्लुप्तायां शोभितायां महाधनैः |
रत्नैर्नानाविधैश्चैव चित्रितायां सुशोभनैः ||
नानारत्नमये पीठे कल्पयित्वा यथाविधि |
किरीटेन ततः पश्चाद्वसिष्ठेन महात्मना ||
ऋत्विग्भिर्भूषणैश्चैव समयोक्ष्यत राघवः |
